Alison studied musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music and is an awarded Associate.

She studied classical singing at the Royal College of Music and completed her undergraduate in Drama & Theatre studies and music at University College Cork.

Alison regularly provides session vocals for new musical theatre works and recording projects, as well as voiceovers for television and radio.
 

She is a prizewinner in the international Lotte Lenya Singing Competition, 

and winner of the Phoenix Artist Club's Search for The Next Musical Theatre Star.

Alison has been supported in her career by Ian Fleming Musical Theatre Award (MBF), Irish Arts Council, Josephine Baker Trust, Lionel Bart Foundation, Kurt Weill Foundation.
